- Damaged DBF file selection

- File structure analysis
The program loads and analyzes the damaged file, identifies table fields, their names and types, as well as offsets marking the beginning of each record in the source file. It also attempts to fix DBF file EOF error to gain access to user's data. If MEMO fields are detected at this stage, the program will also analyze associated fpt/dbt files.
Once done, Recovery Toolbox for DBF will analyze table records. If a MEMO file is found, the software will also analyze its structure and records. If a table being recovered contains MEMO fields, but no external files are used, the program will only process links to the records in these files stored in the table.
- Output file selection
Only the registered version of the program enables you to save recovered data. The demo version lets you preview recovered data in the program window. By default, the program saves recovered date to a file with a different name located in the same folder the source *.dbf file was in.
- Recovery log
Once you have looked through and saved your data, the program will generate a detailed report on the files processed during the current session with timestamps for each file, name of the output file and the number of records recovered.
